This area is known as the "l'aire de mille etangs" (area of 1000 lakes), boasting stunning wildlife, walking, cycling, wild swimming, fishing and birdwatching.
We border the quiet village of Villiers 36290.
If you are looking for a relaxing holiday or short break with views of rolling countryside, waking to birdsong and the occasional deer strolling across the lawn then look no further.
Set in grounds of 20 acres you can follow the mown paths and sit by pretty ponds to watch the dragonflies or a bench in the meadow to watch the butterflies.
The word used most often here is tranquility.
Chambres d'hôtes
Each luxurious chambrés d'hôte (bed and breakfast room) has its own theme which resonates with the history and era of the château, we have endeavoured to make a comfortable home highlighted with original features and furnished in a vintage shabby chic style.The bedrooms have king size or double beds, single beds can be requested for extra occupants.All have very spacious en-suite bathrooms which include showers and roll top baths.All our bedrooms are situated on the 1st floor with views of the surrounding countryside.Continental breakfast is included and will be available in the dining room or on the terrace.
Glamping Bell Tents
Our 6 meter bell tents are situated in a beautiful 4 acre meadow surrounded by oak trees. The meadow also has a pagoda style tent as a communal space with sofas, table and chairs, games and books.
Vehicles are not permitted on the meadow, parking is near by as is the games barn with pétanque (boules), table tennis, darts, giant jenga, swing ball, badminton and picnic benches.
The glamping site is situated within the 20 acre grounds of the château which has farm and previous château buildings. Mown paths lead to various areas of seating, ponds and picnic benches. Villiers village is a short walk form the glamping site.
